Everything you need to run your night out on 5to9 — and how to reach a human if something isn’t working.

Getting started
5to9 is free on iPhone and needs iOS 17 or later. Download it from the App Store, sign up with your email (or Sign in with Apple or Google), confirm your address, and add a photo and a few profile details so hosts know who’s asking to join.
Allow location access when prompted — 5to9 uses it only while you’re in the app, to show bars, lounges and clubs near you. You can also search any city by name if you’d rather not share location.
Finding a venue or event
The map shows venues around you with the events happening there tonight. Tap a venue to see its photos, ratings and open events. Switch to the events list to filter what’s available and see how many spots are left at each table.
Creating an event
Tap Create, pick a venue — or choose Custom location to search an address or drag the pin anywhere on the map — then set the date, time, group size and vibe, and add photos. Your event appears to people nearby, who can send you a join request.
Join requests
To join someone else’s night, open the event and send a join request. The host sees your profile and accepts or declines, and you get a push notification either way. Once you’re accepted you’re added to the event’s group chat automatically.
As a host, open Requests to see everyone who’s asked to join, in the Received tab. Requests you’ve sent are under Sent.
Free accounts can send 2 join requests per week. The counter resets weekly; 5to9 Premium removes the limit.
5to9 Premium
Premium is an auto-renewable monthly subscription that gives you unlimited join requests, priority visibility on events and a badge on your profile. It’s billed through your Apple ID, so we never see your card details.
Cancel or manage your subscription
On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → 5to9 and choose Cancel Subscription. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the renewal date stops the next charge; you keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Restore a purchase
If you reinstalled the app or changed device, open your profile settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID.
Safety, reporting and blocking
You can report any user or event and block any user from inside the app, in one tap. We review reports and remove violating content or terminate accounts, typically within 24 hours. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour — see section 2 of our Terms of Use.
You’re meeting people in public venues: tell a friend where you’re going, arrange to meet the group at the venue, and leave if something feels off.
Deleting your account
Open Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, events, messages, join requests, ratings and photos. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Apple subscription — cancel that separately in your iPhone Settings. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Common problems
I’m not getting push notifications
Check Settings → Notifications → 5to9 on your iPhone and make sure Allow Notifications is on, and that Focus modes aren’t silencing them.
No venues are showing on the map
Make sure location access is set to “While Using the App” in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → 5to9, then pull to refresh. If your area has no venues yet, search a nearby city or create an event with a custom location.
I never received the verification email
Check your spam folder, then request a new verification email from the sign-in screen. Still nothing? Email info@fivetonineapp.com.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. 5to9 is iOS only for now, built for iOS 17 and later.
